This project visualizes an imminent future where the internet’s naturally corrupt, centralised administration system has collapsed - causing people to take action and reharvest the abandoned infrastructure to create a new open source network free from monopolisation and privatisation
Based on natural decentralisation found in insect colonies, control is distributed among the homogeneous biological agents who act upon local information creating complex, global behaviour.
The network is established as structures that interlink with no converging pathway or destination to monitor or monetise. Each node has rings pneumatically assembled that hold a series of interconnected servers running off applications stored on a localised database.
